Project Runway: And Then There Were Three

Project Runway Top 4 Barbara Nitke/BRAVO

It's down to three designers.

We won't say which three—unless you go into the comments (in which case all bets are off). It was a pretty good episode, full of tears, surprise challenges and a shocking—to us, anyway—conclusion courtesy of judges Heidi Klum, Michael Kors and Nina Garcia.

Oh, and Tim Gunn riding a tandem bicycle, which was priceless.

Celeb Spenders and Savers: Liu vs. Lo

Lucy Liu, Lauren Bosworth Nancy Kaszerman/ZUMApress.com, Charley Gallay/Getty Images

Lucy Liu and Lo Boswoth of The Hills both paired their fuchsia frocks with black belts for recent Hollywood nights out.

While both ladies looked pretty in hot pink and black pumps, one of these two fashionistas went for broke.

Neither ensemble was cheap, but one starlet spent twice as much as her similarly dressed counterpart.

Can you tell who's got a black belt in saving money and who splurged on her look? Guess now!

Lindsay Lohan Does the Katie but Sexier

Lindsay Lohan FAME Pictures

Lindsay knows we’re cool with her dating Samantha Ronson and also that we’re pretty accustomed to her daily shopping paparazzi show. But proving she’s one of the greatest self-promoters of our time, she throws in a little extra sumthin' so that we have to take notice again.

And what’s one failproof way to catch our attention? Rolled jeans. Works every time.

Channeling Katie Holmes, whose descent into rolled denim we've tediously catalogued here, Linds does the ol’ boyfriend jean roll. But she ditches Kate’s baggy cardigans for a sheer top and, of course, goes braless. That's our girl!

Top Design Judge Says No to Her Own Show

Do you miss Carrie Bradshaw's fabulous fashion sense?

Then start watching Top Design, because designer Kelly Wearstler, one of the judges on Bravo's interior-design competition show, gives the Sex and the City shoe siren a run for the money with her wardrobe choices: You never know what she'll be wearing each week.

We're talkin' feathers, sequins and berets, and her updos can be so sky high that she teeters on being mistaken for Marge Simpson.

Angie vs. Mariah: When "Who Wore It Best" Is No Longer a Contest

Angelina Jolie, Mariah Carey Andrew H. Walker/Getty Images; Denise Truscello/Getty Images

Poor Mariah. This really isn’t fair at all, is it?

Despite being “hampered by a gorgeous face” as Clint Eastwood put it, Angie still managed to rock the red carpet in Versace for The Changeling premiere Saturday night.

She looked smoking—showing off two new tattoos in honor of newcomers Viv and Knox, while talking about plans for future babies.

Meanwhile, Mariah Carey wore the same Versace LBD last night—only shorter, with tights (why?) and black peep toesto host an evening at the Bellagio’s Bank in Las Vegas.

The only thing worse than wearing the same dress as Angie is wearing it horribly. But if you still feel like there's a possibility Mariah wore it better, do let us know.

Xtina's New Look: The Cheeky Checkerboard

Singer Christina Aguilera shops for clothes in Hollywood and, if these checkerboard leggings are any indication, not a moment too soon.

This Smurfette look doesn't really work for us...

Fashion Face-Off: Heidi Montag vs. Leona Lewis

More from H'Wood Party Girl

While we all know "Bleeding Love" singer Leona Lewis beats Heidi Montag's sad vocal attempts in spades, what about in style?

Both ladies wore the same Hervé Leger metallic dress to separate parties.

Leona chose hers for In Touch's Idols and Icons VMA party, and Heidi wore the dress to her own birthday party at Christian Audigier nightclub in Las Vegas.

But, of course, Heidi just had to shorten the knee-length hemline on the sparkly number to show some more skin. Why are we not surprised?

Anyhow, here at E! Online, we believe in power to the people.

So weigh in below and tell us what candidate gets your vote for rocking this look best.

Project Runway: They Said What?

Project Runway Top 4 Barbara Nitke/BRAVO

Leave aside the outcome—or better yet, discuss it in the comments—but this final-four episode featured some of the best critiques from judges Heidi Klum, Michael Kors and Nina Garcia we've heard all season, as well as an abundance of eye-rolling dismay from Kenley and others.

And then the tears. So, so many tears.

But quotes are easier to read, so take the poll and tell us which one was your favorite—and be sure to offer up some of your own in the comments.

Jay Manuel Settles America's Next Top Lawsuit

ANTM, Jay Manuel Michael Desmond/The CW

Becoming the Next Top Model is probably great and all, but being Tyra Banks' main man of makeup has its perks as well.

Fashionista Jay Manuel has settled a lawsuit with Thruline Entertainment Inc., a management firm that had sued him for unpaid commissions for his work on ANTM. The terms of the deal are still being finalized, according to a document filed Sept. 29 by Thruline attorneys, and there was no immediate comment from either side.

But the most eye-catching element of all this may be that the suit states that Manuel made more than $405,000 for his work as a creative consultant and photo-shoot producer on the show.

We were impressed by Jay's work with the blush brush before, but that is just fierce.

Scary Spice Lookin' for Some Project Runway Magic

More from Marc Malkin

Mel B can't get enough of reality television.

Not only has she competed on Dancing With the Stars and cohosted The Singing Office with Joey Fatone, but now the former Spice Girl exclusively tells me she's hooking up with Project Runway creator Eli Holzman to try and create a new reality show around her Catty Couture clothing line.

But it's so early in the process, Mel declines to give too much away. All she'll say right now is, "It's a thing that's in development that I'm really excited about."

In the last week or so, Mel's been tackling another big job: cleaning out her 10-bedroom estate back in her native U.K.

Housewives Offer Some Southern Exposure

More from Marc Malkin

Is this the beginning of a Real Housewives feud?

Kim Zolciak, one of five women starring in Bravo's new The Real Housewives of Atlanta, says she and her pals are ready to take down their Orange County and New York City counterparts.

"Our show rocks," Zolciak (above, in pink) told me earlier today. "I think the personalities and the diversity in the show supersede all of the other Housewives shows."

Sneak Peek: Stylista Looks Sinfully Good

As soon as it was revealed that the devil wore Prada, we knew it was only a matter of time before the Prince of Darkness would be given a fashion-based reality show.

Disguised this time around as Elle fashion news director Anne Slowey, heaven's fallen angel puts 11 minions through, yes, hell, as they vie for an editor position at the prestigious mag on the new CW series Stylista, premiering Oct. 22.

Created by the puppet masters behind such guilty pleasures as Project Runway and America's Next Top Model, the show's got it all—the breakdowns, the bitching, the backstabbing.

Our prayers have been answered.
